Hurry Up and Wait.....

For the past few days, i've been growing my sea legs. once grown, i
think it'll be fine. i mean i'm fine in terms that i'm still
blabbing. we are definitely entering the area of which icebergs
reside. today (at around 10:45-ish local time, 3 hrs ahead of Pacific
time) we had our first sighting of a berg. in fact, if i had waited
to call Ed then i would of told him about the berg. from what i
could see from the bridge, it was small (~ 4km long). as one of the
scientist called it....that little ice chunk. we are targeting
something as big as 25km length wise. nuts, eh? well, that little
ice chunk gave us some hope. :D now we are flooring it.....at
whopping 12 ish knots to get to our target iceberg somewhere near
elephant island.

cross your fingers...so far it's a balmy 0oC outside and nice inside.

10+hrs till we see the berg of choice. :D even more hrs before we
can do something with it.
